Volunteers are needed to help make all of this happen!
We need help spreading the word about the benefits of becoming a vegan. Experienced vegans are needed to serve as mentors for the program.
Vegan Helpline guides people through constant support. This support includes regular phone / text / email contact.
We address environmental, ethical, health, and practical issues. A personal mentor makes becoming or staying a vegan much easier.
Vegan Helpline is a non-profit privately funded organization which strives to promote the vegan lifestyle, and to end animal exploitation. The organization was founded by Steve Khan in New Orleans, La.
Our stated purpose is promoting a way of living, which is completely free from exploitation of animals, and advocating a healthy, wholly vegetable diet, to the benefit of human beings, animals, plant life and the environment.
The Vegan Helpline is a free service for vegans and transitioning vegans that provides help and different perspectives from long time vegans through email or over the phone.
